How does the 6bd sports section work?

Sports mean something different to people in Bangladesh. When cricket is on, the whole country seems to hold its breath together. 6bd's sports section was built with that passion in mind — offering not just betting, but live scores, match analysis, odds comparisons, and expert predictions.

When Bangladesh plays a big match, thousands of 6bd users join in on the live betting action at the same time. The whole experience feels a lot like watching the game in a stadium — except you're at home, phone in hand, with the live action playing out right on your screen.

Cricket Betting — Bangladesh's Favorite

It goes without saying that cricket is the most popular sport in Bangladesh by a wide margin. Cricket betting is the most-used section on 6bd, covering all three formats — Test, ODI, and T20. You can bet on far more than just the match result, from the toss all the way to individual player performances.

Bangladesh matches get special coverage at 6bd. Betting options are available for all BCB-recognized international matches, plus IPL, BBL, PSL, CPL, and every major franchise tournament.

Types of bets available in cricket:

  • Match Winner — Bet on who will win the match.
  • Top Batsman — Which batter will score the most runs.
  • Total Runs — Total runs Over/Under in a specific over.
  • Player of the Match — Who will be the top performer.
  • Innings Score — Total runs in the first innings.
  • Live Betting — Odds update ball by ball as the match unfolds.

Football Betting — The World's Best Leagues

In football, 6bd covers Europe's five major leagues — the English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A, and French Ligue 1. You can also bet on the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, FIFA World Cup, Copa América, and more.

Live betting on football is especially thrilling. Odds update every minute once the match kicks off — and shift instantly whenever a goal is scored, a red card is shown, or a penalty is awarded.

Expert Tip: Watch the first 15 minutes in live football betting. Once you get a feel for how each team is performing, you'll be in a much better position to place your bets.

Sports Betting on Mobile

Most 6bd users in Bangladesh access the platform on mobile. With that in mind, the entire Sports section has been specifically optimized for mobile use. Even on a small screen, you can easily view odds, scores, and match stats all at a glance.

During a match, push notifications keep you updated on goals, wickets, and major events in real time. Many users say it's the feature they rely on most — because you can't always keep your eyes glued to the screen.

How do odds work?

Odds on 6bd are displayed in decimal format. For example, if Bangladesh's odds are 2.50 and you bet ৳100, you'll receive ৳250 if you win — that's your stake included in the total payout.

Higher odds mean a team is less likely to win — but the payout is bigger if they do. Lower odds mean that team is the favourite. 6bd always aims to offer the best odds on the market so users get the most value.
